Below, five famous quotes by Socrates which accede to my own logic and reason. Socratesis a historical philosopher of ancient Greece who where condemned for his heretic teachings, he was also teacher of both Plato and Xenophon. Even though Socrates life ended 399 B.C his philospohy lives on in today’s modern principles of logic and reason.

• The way to gain a good reputation is to endeavor to be what you desire to appear.

• The greatest way to live with honor in this world is to be what we pretend to be.

• If a man is proud of his wealth, he should not be praised until it is known how he employs it.
